Dear Wyebrook Church Family,

2 Peter 3:18 “But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.”

We thank the Lord for the wonderful time of VBS we had, and for the helpers involved! It’s a blessing to be able to outreach to the community for the growth of God’s kingdom! I pray that we can always be encouraged from Isaiah 55:11 that God’s Word does not return void, and even if we do not see the fruit with our own eyes, to know that we have impacted hearts for God’s kingdom is a blessing like no other!

In that line of outreach, we are looking forward to the Back-to-School picnic again this year, and I thank those that have already signed up to help. We are looking to have packages for at least 50 children, with the hope and expectation of that many coming. In the event that we do not see that many children this day, we will hand out the remaining packages in the next upcoming outreach this month at West Caln Residents’ Day at Layton Park.

This Layton Park outreach will be on August 22nd at Layton Park in Coatesville, PA on 340 (Coatesville address, but Wagontown location). The event will be from 11am-4pm, and we are looking to be there to hand out gospel tracts, free water, free gospel themed gifts, and more. If you are available to help out (can be for any length of time), please see me for details.

We are also looking forward to a youth outing with the teen group this month to an escape room on August 22nd. Teens from outside our church are welcome to come as well, we look forward to the time together to build and encourage our youth.

We look forward to laboring in the harvest with you this month, and together praying that God brings forth the increase!

In the labor and love of our Lord,
Pastor Kenneth Miller
