June, 2020
Dear Faithful Saints at Wyebrook,
It has been an unusual time for all of us, but let me remind you that the Lord is faithful regardless what is going on around us. Psalm 24:1 “The earth is the Lord’s, and the fullness thereof: the world, and they that dwell therein.”
Not only is the earth the Lord’s but you are his too if you know Christ as your personal Savior. I’m glad John 10:28 tells us, “And I give unto them eternal life: and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.”
Isn’t it good to know that whatever happens in the world, the gift of eternal life is ours and no one can take us out of our of Father’s hand. The Lord is faithful.
Thank you for supporting our “Parking Lot” Worship service. God has been good to us to allow us to do this.
Now the exciting, good news! We reopen our church building on May 31 for our worship service at 11:00 a.m. and for the evening service at 6:30 p.m. Sunday school will reopen next week, June 7 at 10:00 a.m. Please plan on joining us. Precautions will be taken to help prevent the spread of germs and make folks feel comfortable during our time together. (See end of letter for more details.)
A special thank you for your consistent financial support. The tithes and offerings have been up in the last two months. May I encourage you to remain faithful as we ought. Attendance seems to be up as well. Thank you for coming out to the house of God. May we encourage others to come and worship with us.
Prayer has been our theme this last month and we want to encourage you to go another month with your prayer partner. Praying with one another has been a blessing to you and the person you are partnering with. My hope is the messages on prayer have been a learning experience as we looked into Matthew 6.
As a result of your faithful giving we have been able to do a little extra for those missionaries we support monthly by giving them an extra one-time gift of $150.00 each this month to help them through this difficult time. Your faithful giving makes that possible. Thank you.
Trusting with thanksgiving and dependent upon the Master,
Pastor Perry

You may be wondering what we are doing in preparation of re-opening the church building for services again. I hope we can answer those questions for you.
What we have already done:
Cleaning: All surfaces have been wiped down with disinfectant. Floors have been vacuumed and mopped. Bathrooms have been thoroughly cleaned and sanitized.
All water coolers and coffee makers were drained and cleaned a few weeks ago to prevent any illness that may have resulted from standing water. The water coolers now have fresh water in them. The coffee makers will be filled and ready by June 7 for our Sunday school time.
What we are doing to prepare for church use:
Pews have been taped off to create a safe distance for those with compromised health. Please do not remove the tape.
Hand sanitizer is available throughout the building. Please use frequently.
Follow safety procedures to prevent the spread of germs…wash hands thoroughly, cover sneezes or coughs with a hanky/tissue or the inside of your elbow, wash or sanitize your hands after coughing or sneezing, avoid touching your face.
Be considerate of those that may be at risk.
Procedures for worship time:
Please be considerate of others by greeting one another verbally or with a simple wave or nodding of your head.
We will not do our usual meet and greet handshake during the service, instead we will greet one another verbally or with a wave from our pew. Please greet each other with a nod, wave or other means rather than the traditional handshake or hug.
If you have any symptoms of COVID-19 such as fever, cough or shortness of breath, or if you have recently been exposed, please stay home.
If you are uncomfortable returning to the church building or are sick and unable to attend, our website has the message you can watch/listen to that can encourage you and your family. A message just for children is available immediately following the morning sermon. Also on the web site is the opportunity to give through “Tithely” or you can mail your offering in if you are unable to attend.
Hope to see you there as we are dependent upon the Master,
Pastor Perry
