Dear Family of Faith at Wyebrook
Fall has arrived and cooler temperatures are coming. We are blessed to enjoy some super nice days in the next little while which are gifts from the Father of lights as James 1:17 reminds us, Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness neither, shadow of turning. All is a gift from the hand of the Father who gave his only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life.
Thank You for your many cards and gifts for Pastor Appreciation Sunday. Kathy and I are blessed by your words of encouragement and thanksgiving.
A thank you goes out to all of you that helped to make the luncheon a blessing as well. The variety of food was great and so was the fellowship.
Another blessing I saw last Sunday, we had a good number of worshippers show up in our 11:00 a.m. service. My hope is that will continue and we will see all our people coming back soon.
A believer’s baptism is planned for Sunday, November 15 at the end of the 11:00 morning worship service. May I encourage you to follow through with believer’s baptism if you have placed your faith and trust in Christ? Please see me or give me a call at the office so we can include you in this important act of obedience.
For those of you that are members, we have a vote coming up soon for the Leadership Team for 2021. Brother Barry Broomell has been nominated by the Leadership Team to be a trustee for a two year term beginning January 2021. Please watch the weekly bulletin for more info on the discussion meeting and the voting date.
Our annual Thanksgiving service is Sunday, November 22 at 6:30 p.m. May I ask you to put that date on your calendar to give thanks publicly to the Lord for the many blessings he has given you. This is one of the most special services of the year because it is a reminder of the Lord’s goodness to each of us. Please plan to be with us!
Please don’t forget to VOTE on Tuesday, November 3rd (presidential election).
Thanks for reading and may we be a thankful people.
Dependent upon the Master,
Pastor Perry
