Dear Family of Faith at Wyebrook,

I am learning to Praise the Lord and look at the good side of things because I know I am truly blessed, as is our Church. Psalm 100:4 reminds us; Enter into his gates with thanksgiving and into his courts with praise; be thankful unto him and bless his name. Good words from God’s word.

I am thankful the new flooring is complete in the gym. I think it looks fantastic! Thank you for your financial support to help us complete this project by paying cash for it! There are a few things to be done which we hope to see completed before the beginning of AWANA and Teen group on Wednesday, September 9. Though the floor is paid for, there are still some things we need to do and pay for such as striping the lines for the basketball and volleyball courts. Please pray for our workers, children and teens that come out on Wednesday evening as we begin a new year of ministering to those that attend.

We have just purchased 150 new chairs which will be a blessing in our classrooms and luncheons in the gym. We are doing some other work over in the gym as well. If you can help out we can use another set of hands.

We are planning a work day Saturday, September 12, 8:00 a.m. Please plan to be with us to help. Please see me and I can let you know what to do. Thanks.

We are preparing for our annual Round Up Sunday, September 27. We are planning our first luncheon in the newly renovated gym and all the activities: barrel trains, pony rides, petting zoo, hay rides and other activities will be available at no cost for all to enjoy. Invite your family and friends to be with us. It’s going to be a great day and we want you to plan to be with us. Please don’t forget to help us out with a favorite food item or two, bringing some extra for our guests and especially for those coming with you!
