February, 2021

Dear Family of Faith at Wyebrook,

My how 2021 is moving quickly but the hope is it will move quickly toward spring! Amen? Amen!

Glad we have a faithful heavenly Father that is watching out for us much more than we watch out for ourselves. 2 Thessalonians 3:3 states, But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil. Love the promise of his faithfulness and him establishing us and keeping us from evil. That is good news.

The adult choir and the children did a great job last Sunday in sharing the Christmas musical. Thank you, Sister Dianne Messner for following through and working with everyone diligently. The message and the music was a real blessing.

May I remind you about our Sweetheart and Friends Banquet Saturday evening February 13, 6:00 p.m. at Yoder’s in New Holland. Check the bulletin for cost. Invite another couple or a friend. Please sign up on the table under the bulletin board and put your payment in an envelope, marking it Sweetheart Dinner so we know that is what the money is for and drop it in the offering box. It will be a great time. Tammy and Mike Erdelyi are doing the games and (sur)prizes.

Teens, (grades 7-12) a gym night with pizza is planned Friday, February 12, 7:00 – 10:30 in the gym at no cost. Yes, it is free! Invite your friends. Let Adriel or Cory know if you’re coming. You will need a permission slip.

Just a reminder to you that City Gate Mission and Director Jim Davis will be with us Sunday, February 21 at 11:00 a.m. We will be having a soup and sandwich luncheon right after service and would like to see you there. Please bring some extra food as Jim may bring an extra 15-20 folks with him to church that day.

I appreciate everyone working well together at Wyebrook. Let’s continue to pray for and with one another. If you’re missing someone, please call them. They would enjoy hearing from you. You could make someone’s day by spending a few minutes on the phone with them.

Let’s continue to press on for the Lord Jesus.

Dependent on the Master today, all day and every day,

Pastor Perry
