Dear Church Family and Friends of Wyebrook,

Thank the Lord it has been hot because it could be hotter! Hope your summer has been going well. Summer presents a lot of changes for most of us. Time schedules, places to be, family events and other activities happen. May we keep in mind our Lord has not changed and we, as his people, need to keep the things of God a priority even throughout the heat wave! Amen? Amen.

VBS begins on Sunday, August 7 through August 11, for grades K-5, each evening from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. in the gym. Please let your children, grandchildren and neighborhood children know! We have the permission slips on the table under the bulletin board or online at wyebrook.org.  Special events, including a water night, are planned along with the fun of learning from God’s Word and the crafts that will be made. The bus and van will be running to pick up at Indian Run Village and Deer Run Park. Call the Church office for a time of pickup.

The Ladies are going out for breakfast on Saturday, August 13 at 9:00 a.m. at Shady Maple. Bring a friend. They have the best omelets in the universe! Lots of other good stuff there also plus the fellowship of one another!

We have a children and teen Sunday planned on August 28. Our children and teens will be doing some special things that day! Support them by being here!

Just a reminder our Awana and Teen group startup date is Wednesday, September 7, 7 – 8:30 pm. It is not that far away!
