Dear Church at Wyebrook,
Thank you for the help and a good luncheon on Sunday. I appreciate everyone that contributed food, set up & serving time and your presence. Thank the Lord we have people who not only want to help but DO help! Saying it and doing it is always two different things. The food was great too!
I am thankful our Lord not only tells us in his word he will help us but he follows through with actions. Psalm 46:1 reminds us, God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
May we give thanks for his help and strength day by day recognizing it is he that helps us much more than we think. Amen? Amen! God is good and worthy of our praise.
A lot going on in July. May I bring these items to your attention to be a part of and to invite others to these special events.
~ The Roberts family known as Westward Road will be sharing their singing ministry with us Sunday, July 14 at 11:00 a.m.
~ The 14th will also be the voting date for our constitution change. It has been in the bulletin for the last 2 weeks, 3 counting today. Please make sure to vote!
~ Sunday July 21 will be our annual Church picnic at West Nantmeal Park right after church on Sunday. We rent the pavilion there and there usually is a nice breeze that blows across the park. Bring your food and drinks, the Church will bring the paper plates, cups, utensils, and napkins.
~ Vacation Bible School is planned for Sunday, July 28 through August 1, 7:00-8:30 p.m. nightly for grades K-5. Tammy Erdeyli will lead the VBS. We need your help to work with the children who come out. Please let us know if you can help.
A lot going on as the summer brings the heat. May we use our time wisely whether it is with family, friends or church. We are blessed.
Encouraged and Dependent on the Master,
Pastor Perry
