Pastor's Corner

February, 2026

Dear Wyebrook Family,

Psalm 147:16-17 says “He giveth snow like wool: he scattereth the hoarfrost like ashes. He casteth forth his ice like morsels: who can stand before his cold?”.

This past month has felt like a physical representation of these verses. I pray that you have been able to stay safe and warm during our winter storms. It has been a trial to be apart from one another for half of the month, and we are dearly missing gathering together in fellowship.

That being said, we are looking forward to the time of fellowship at the Sweetheart banquet on February 21st. If you haven’t signed up, please make sure to do so on the sign-up sheet on the back table. We are excited to share in food, fellowship, games and activities. This event is not exclusive to our church, and we invite you to invite others to come. It does come at a cost of $17 per person, if you need help paying for the cost, you can talk to my wife or I for details.

This month, we are also looking to provide the church with a yearly update on goals, finances, and direction that we aim to push for in the coming year. Please join us on February 22nd as we aim to hold this meeting after the service on this date.

By now, you should also have received your giving receipts of the entire 2025 year. This is for tax purposes if any of our members seek to use this information for their taxes. I want to remind our church that, in order to record this information properly, we need the envelopes to be filled out entirely, with name, amount, and designation. This also helps streamline our counting process, to keep record of all giving.

I do want to personally thank you for your giving to the Lord faithfully. I know this giving is a response by faith on your part, in desiring to be a blessing and help the ministry, and this is a matter between you and God, however, seeing the hearts of our church and the faithful giving has been an encouragement to us this past year.

I pray that the Lord continues to lead us in the coming month, and may His mercy be upon us to allow us to gather in our facilities as often as possible in this weather. Please pray that we can gather regularly! God bless you all.

In the Savior’s Love,

Pastor Kenneth Miller
