Pastor's Corner

May, 2024

Dear Precious Saints at Wyebrook,

I am rejoicing greatly because of the four young people that were baptized last Sunday at Church. What a blessing to see these young people follow through. Thanks again to all of you that helped with the luncheon afterward. When everyone pitches in and works together it glorifies the Lord, blesses me and encourages me personally.

We are blessed as a Church to enjoy such a sweet fellowship together. That is how it should be! May we strive together to be a people who go the extra mile with each other simply because the Savior has done that for each of us! Amen? Amen!

Acts 2:47 Praising God, and having favor with all the people. And the Lord add to the Church daily such as should be saved. I’m glad the Lord is doing that here at Wyebrook.

May we remember the month of May as our month of Prayer. Please think today about who your prayer partner might be, praying daily with one another, encouraging one another, and lifting one another up. What a blessing we can be to one another and receive blessings ourselves if we will do this! Please keep in mind our set aside dates for praying together as a Church. Thursday, May 2nd is the National Day of Prayer which we will meet here at the Church in the foyer at 11:00 a.m. Afterward we will go to lunch at September Farms. Other dates include Men’s time of Prayer on Sunday, May 5th at 10:00 a.m. in the Men’s classroom. The ladies time of Prayer on Sunday, May 19 at 10:00 a.m. in the ladies classroom. Sunday, May 26th a special altar of prayer on Sunday morning at the 11:00 a.m. service. Please let me encourage you as an individual to participate in this blessing of praying with and for one another. Guaranteed you will be glad you did!

Praying and dependent upon the Master,

Pastor Perry
