Pastor's Corner

December, 2021

Dear Family of Faith at Wyebrook,

Who would have thought the end of the year would come so soon? The Lord has allowed it to be a good year for us.

May we say with the Psalmist in Psalm 107:8 Oh that men would praise the Lord for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men.

I hope the messages on thanksgiving I have shared with you this month has encouraged you as much as it has encouraged me!  When we give thanks to the Lord for his goodness it draws us near to him. I believe it humbles us and creates a deeper desire to serve him. I pray that would be true in your life!

I just want to say thank you to you today for your service to the Lord whether here at church or in Awana or teen group, the after-school Bible club and anywhere that you serve the Lord. Your faithful financial giving has allowed us to give our missionaries a much-needed raise, and allowed us to fund other projects in the church. I am so humbled to be a part of a church that gets whatever needs done accomplished. We have worked diligently together and I thank you for your interest in the Lord’s work. How blessed we are as a church! Thank you.

Just a few reminders, our Church decorating is Saturday, December 4 at 9:00 a.m. we need your help however long you can help usually it only takes a couple of hours you might even get a free donut and coffee! Sunday, December 5 at 5:30 p.m. is our Christmas Caroling and Covered dish Supper, dress warm; this is great time for your family to give of yourself to sing a few carols to someone else.

Our Christmas Cantata is Sunday, December 19 at 11:00 a.m. Please plan to invite someone to enjoy the music with you. Our young people are doing some solos and the messages of the songs are great!

Thankful because I am learning to be dependent upon the Master,

Pastor Perry
