Dear Saints of God at Wyebrook,

I rejoice at the great workday we had a couple of weeks ago. Not only did we get a tremendous amount done we got the mess cleaned up and are ready for phase two of what we are going to do with sound tiles in the gym. We either have to make or buy these tiles to absorb the sound. Please pray with me about this decision. We also have to put up the tiles on the walls or ceiling. We must act soon as time is rolling by us quickly.

Thank you to all that worked diligently to put up the new swing set and the 6×6’s around it and helped spread the playground mulch to make it safe. The old set has been disposed of, it served us many years.

Many of you are wondering about the 15-passenger van. We have not found one yet, but are still looking. We are not trying to rush into a deal. The leadership team believes it will come to pass when the timing is right. Until then we will wait patiently.

Please plan on joining us for our annual Church Picnic Sunday, July 24 right after church at the West Nantmeal Park where we have rented the pavilion. Please bring enough food for your family and guests. (Yes, I hope you will invite someone!) It will be a great time together!

Vacation Bible School is planned for Sunday, August 7 through Thursday, August 11 each evening 7:00 – 8:30 pm. If you are able to help out, please sign up because we need helpers as well as teachers.

I am reminded when going through different challenges as we do of what the Psalmist said in Psalm 27:14 Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart; wait I say, on the Lord.
