Dear Wyebrook Church Family,

Our hearts go out to Charlotte Walton with the passing of our brother Jim. May we lift her and the family up in prayer, and I thank the Lord that Jim is in His presence now, where there is no more sorrow, tears or pain. We look forward to that day that we will be reunited with him!

2 Corinthians 9:15 “Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift.”

Psalm 148:13 “Let them praise the name of the Lord: for his name alone is excellent; his glory is above the earth and heaven.”

Praise be to God for He alone is worthy! I thank the Lord for you all in lifting up our prayers in this month of May! This has been an encouragement to grow closer together, and with the Lord. May we continue with this fervency as we give praises to His name as well.

One of the ways I wanted to encourage our passion for prayer to not decline is by using this month of June as a means to share one praise a day with your prayer partner. When we gear our minds to focus on what God has already given, our attitude becomes full of gratitude.

We are also looking forward to the Needhams joining us on June 14th for a special time of worship together. I encourage you to invite others to join us as we spend this time together. The Needhams have been a blessing to Wyebrook over the years, and continue to share the good news through messages in song.

Last, we are looking forward to our VBS which will be starting at the end of the month this year. We will begin on June 28th going through July 2nd. Our theme for the year is Turned Around, focusing on stories in the bible in which God radically turned people’s lives around to follow Jesus. If you know anyone in the ages of Kindergarten up through 5th grade, we encourage you to invite them to come. Below is a QR code that will send them directly to the sign-up sheet!
