Pastor's Corner

Dear Family of Faith at Wyebrook,

I am thankful the Lord is giving us “peeks” of spring. As I am writing this letter the temperature is 50 degrees and I think you all would agree this time of year we will take the warmer day! I am also reminded that as sure as the truth that spring and warmer weather will come as promised by God, we also will see the truth in scripture from Galatians 6:7 “Be not deceived God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.”

Sowing and reaping are in our lives in many areas. May I encourage you to personally take a look at your relationship with the Lord. What have you sown, spiritually speaking, is what you will reap. Taking time in God’s work daily will always help you reap positively as well as a dedicated time of prayer. No one can do that for you but you!

As we think about family, friends, co-workers and others; may we pray with dedication for their salvation. May I strongly encourage you to ask the Lord to give you wisdom to be a witness to those you are praying for. Invite those you pray for to the house of God; something can happen if we sow! But it is for sure nothing will be reaped if we do not sow. Easter, believe it or not is not far away. Maybe this can be the time God can bring some results from your sowing. Reaping always takes time, it is never an “overnight” event. God worked in your life because someone sowed spiritually. May we do the same as the people of God!

Please take note to the upcoming events in the tri-fold and let’s invite folks to be a part of things as we tell them of God’s goodness through Christ. Thanks for your faithfulness here at Wyebrook.

Asking God to help us sow so we may reap a harvest to HIS glory.

Sowing and dependent upon the Master,
