Dear Saints of Wyebrook,
We have the great privilege of being part of the family of God by faith in Christ Jesus our Lord. I am continuously glad that it is God’s work in me and not my work in God. Philippians 1:6 reminds us, Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath began a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ. Thanks be to God for his unspeakable gift of his Son as our personal Savior and the Holy Spirit to help us in our walk of obedience day by day. God is good. Amen. Amen!
We had a great day at Honey Brook Harmony Day last Saturday as we sat up at Honey Brook Power right along Route 322. We had the puppets there with the stage, chairs to set down and rest a minute, a materials table with Church invitations, gospel tracts, AWANA invitations and CD’s we were giving away for free as well as bottled water and balloon hats and swords! There were a lot of people traffic from the yard sales and we were able to touch base with a lot of folks. I met a lady that listens to the message on the web site and she is planning to come to the Church soon along with her children. A special thanks to all who helped out and were a part of things, and our young people who helped out too! I believe the Lord will honor our efforts as we continue to serve him faithfully.
A special thanks to all who have helped to make our Round-Up Sunday happen. Whether you invited, made food, worked or helped in set up, fix up or clean up I just wanted to say I greatly appreciate all everyone does. We could not do these events without your help!
There is much going on the month of October also. Please check the tri-fold for all the events, dates and times. May we have a burden to invite and include others. You could be the one God uses to help an individual or family and to point them to Christ or our Church. We must work at inviting others!
AWANA and teen group are going well on Wednesday. May I ask you to pray about the church purchasing a used 15 passenger van for our outreach on Wednesday and youth activities as well as other things it could be used for. We are saving money for this and any money you might like to donate please mark VAN on your giving envelope. I will say thank you ahead of time for your gifts.
A lot of good things are happening here at Wyebrook.
