Pastor's Corner

September, 2021

Dear Friends and Family of Wyebrook,

I am blessed today because of the Lord’s goodness to me! When I can see the goodness of the Lord to me it just does my spirit good and brings joy to my heart! The creator of the universe desires a relationship with me that I cannot earn or deserve, yet he gives it as a gift through his dear Son. Amazing Grace how sweet the sound. The song is still applicable even today. Ephesians 2:8,9 For by grace are ye saved through faith; that not of yourself it is the gift of God not of works, lest any man should boast. That is good news!

Speaking of good news, we are not far from our Wednesday night ministries starting on September 8 7:00-8:30 p.m. in our gym. AWANA for children in K-6 and Teen Group for those in grades 7-12.  No cost for any child or teen that wants to be a part of things. The registration form is on our website: wyebrook.org and we will have them in the church and in the gym for you to sign up or give away. If you can help out on Wednesday night please see Kathy or I.

We are planning to be a part of things at Honey Brook Harmony Day on Saturday, September 18 at our table in Honey Brook at Honey Brook Power parking lot on Route 322. We will be having literature and other activities from 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. that day. If you can help us for an hour please let me know. All you really have to do is keep an eye on things and answer any questions. If you don’t know the answer show them the Church office number and ask them to give me a call! Help us be a good witness that day to the people of Honey Brook!

Sunday, September 26 is our annual Round-Up Sunday with all the great things to do at our church for free. We will be printing brochures soon to advertise but YOU are the biggest advertiser when you invite family and friends to come out! Folks need a personal invitation from YOU! We will need your prayers, your person. and your food to make this the great day it is going to be.

Looking forward with eyes of faith dependent upon the Master,

Pastor Perry
